I’m happy to say that I do very little traveling for my business. I’m a homebody, so this is a good thing for me. But I do travel for business from time-to-time, and, we are frequently hitting the road as a family to go on personal trips. As a homebody/Type-A personality, travel preparation is vital.
So how can I make sure we have our trip planned out before we leave? Enter Tripsourcing.
Tripsourcing is a real-time itinerary-planning community that allows travelers to obtain tailor-made travel itineraries from the experts — those that live and work where you’re visiting.
You create an account, enter information about your trip and the everyone in the community has the opportunity to help, influence, and assist you. It’s a different application of collaboration and community, a concept which we all know I love dearly.
I’ve only played around with the site as I haven’t been planning any trips lately, but I’ve checked out some other members trip data and the suggestions they have gotten are really cool. And it’s free.
